(Cassette Deck)
I already have one, which I bought brand new in 1980. I also have an SC1110 and an SC3110. And no cassettes. So when another SC1330 popped up on CL the other day, I really didn't need to look at it, but the price was only $10, and it had the rack handles. Looked up the address, and it's 123 miles away! So I sent the guy an email and told him I'd buy it just for parts, but the drive was too much, and let it go. He just called and told me he'd ship it to me for an additional $15, so for $25 I have a spare and another set of handles. He also has the manuals and stuff for it, so what the heck! Maybe good trading material!!
Having some spare parts apart is always a good decision, and for $25 adding spares and manuals is not a good but a wise decison.
The rack handles can go for that much. original manuals make a nice addition. And for parts that you would otherwise not be able to come by, great deal!

The deck showed up today.
The seller called me the day my check arrived and told me that he -*test*-('")ed it before shipping and it quit working. He opened it up and found the belt broken. I think he figured he thought it would squash the deal. I told him I was surprised that it lasted this long, and to go ahead and ship it. I opened the box, took the serial number off, and the (plastic, damn!) handles, put it back in the box, and on the shelf it will go. The plastic handles aren't quite as popular, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which units have metal or plastic. They are still well worth the $25 to me.
Those are great decks. Very nice, well built solid machines. Not TOTL, but good decks. Enjoy!
