I have heard that the 1250 is better sounding than the 1980, but I havent actually heard either one. would love to have the 1980, just to have.

I have a bunch of broken $h*t I'll sell for a lot less than $900!!!

I loved my 1250 but something(s) had to go when I made the move out here. It was the only receiver I've ever had that popped the safety fuses in my 400w CVs. I've heard the same thing, would like to have that 1980 or even another 1250 but man, without looking at a bluebook I'm going to guess $900 is a tad bit high.
