Btw, what is in your opinion the big diferencies between RTR and a tape deck?

Actually, I have another on of these sitting around. Moved it to audition the Pioneer RT's. I assume by "tape deck" you mean cassette. IMHO the RtR is much more versatile and better sounding for home use. Much easier to record with and tweak. Yes, there are "comparable" cassette decks and you can't beat the portability but in the end the RtR still comes out far ahead.

Love that reel to reel! I'm a big Akai fan. Not too fond of the shape of that metal reel, but sine it says "Akai" on it, it's a keeper too. Am jealous.....
