Went by the SA Friday and saw they were having an electronics clearance—$5 for all vcrs and stereos. The Sony powered on but platter wouldn't start. It had been marked $22.50. Couldn't pass it at $5. Got it home and appears to be a prob with a switch as the spindle/platter will turn if the tt is on its side . I jammed the relay and find that the speed is a little off. It is a complete unit and in good shape so I figured it to be a project if not parts.

It's always good to have a few projects laying about, especially if they turn out nice.
