please understand that this is a work in progress. we will modify and adjust the STCoC as necessary. compliance with these rules are really the only thing we expect from the membership.

Sound Thinking Code of Conduct

1. Mutual respect for all Members, Administrators and Moderators is required. Personal attacks of any kind will not be tolerated.

2. Different points of view are encouraged. However, once posted, ones opinions and ideas are subject to debate by other members. When engaging in such debate refer to rule #1.

3. Your preference in gear, music, sound and anythng else is no more valid than the preference of any other member. Arrogant and snobbish attitudes will not be tolerated, again refer to rule #1.

Failure to comply with the above will get you banned, quickly. Banned members can apply for re-instatement through the Court forum. There they will be given an opportunity to present their case.

Acceptable Forum Content

- Derogatory/Slanderous/Racial/Explicit Material
- Sharing of passwords / Serial Numbers /
- Invasion on privacy / Impersonation of others
- Spam / MLM
- Harassment
- Illegal Conduct of Any Sort

COPPA:
Every forum is expected to require individuals under the age of 13 to submit permission from their parents in order to join their forum. Those forums found to have removed the built in software which automatically requests this information on each of our forums, will be suspended, if they do not remedy within 1 week.

Sound Thinking has adopted the following policies:

Forum Bashing.
Negative comments regarding other forums or members of other forums are not allowed. Basically, if you have only bad things to say, dont say anything. Discussion's and reference's towards other forums and members of other forums, where relevant, are fine.

Politics and Religion.
Debates on the topics of politics or religion are not allowed. Political or religious references are allowed, as long as they are not derogatory or offensive, but should be used with care. Let your good common sense prevail.
