Cut about 8-10 red potatos into 1" squares or so. 1 whole onion. 5 cloves of minced garlic. 1/4 of virgin olive oil, and mix. Now go to the store and buy 1 packet of powdered ranch dressing. Mix in with liberal amounts of pepper.
Salt to taste. bake for about 45 minutes on 380-400.
you now have a nice easy set of spuds for dinner.

If I can find powdered ranch dressing, I'll cook some up this week as well. Dang grocery store near me has squat for selections.
i like this one with lots of mushrooms along with the onion.
This one got thumbs up from everyone in my family

.
We tried it with "cajun spice" and it was prett good also. I suppose you could try differrent things with this little gem.

Since my heart surgery, I have to watch the calories and salt, so wifey found a packet of no salt hardly any calorie diet ranch. Still tasted great!!!
If the ranch has a bunch of salt, I the cajun spice might not. Its a real good way to do it also.
