actually Elroy sent a pair home with me that i'm listening to right now. compared to my standard ic, diy silver ic's, the Taras give a slightly more lively presentation. me likey.

these were some you sent to Todd a while back. its hard to tell for sure because i have to change out the ic's between comparisons, but i think the Tara's are a bit cleaner than what i've been using. running it from the dac to the preamp. still have my diy silver ic's in place from the pre to each amp. it would be interesting to see how much a difference swapping out the other 2 pair would make.

Steal 2 pair from Todd. I'm out. Or I would send you 2 pair to try.

I'd let you borrow a whole set so you could see how much it opens it up. on my system, it wasnt, "knock my doors off" but it was just better, cleaner sound, all around an improvement.
