Just picked one of these up for free, powers up but needs new belts. I beleive these can be used for multitrack recording. Anyone know anything about these

I looked on the internet, found a couple things, but I dont have any personal knowledge of this deck. our affiliate, tapeheads.net might know a thing or two if no one chimes in.

Hi Steve, I'm not familiar with the Teac you got but, I just got a Fostex E-2 which has a synch channel from a TV station here in town the 3-ring binder of operational instructions goes over the synch process quite thouroghly, they are two completely different decks, and I really don't think the synch feature is used in music playback enjoyment. I have some Teac cassette decks on my watch list on ebay. i'll check to see if there's a link to any info in them.

edit: no link but, is it kinda like this one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=200257017741

I'll sniff around for ya!
