I've an original Technics SL-1300 (not a MK II) with a wonky start-up issue- the arm wants to drop near the end of the record, then wants to immediately start back to the "off" position.

I can't currently download the manual, but will by Monday.

I imagine it's a straightforward fix. The table is healthy and in great shape otherwise.

Any ideas?
