The first of the four tuners I ever bought myself.
Had it for half a dozen years or so, then sort of lent it to one of my nephews upon giving up on Radio in the mid / late 80´s.
I subsequently bought the BPC Sony digital tuner previously discussed in these pages, then, more recently, the analog Onkyo T-5000 now residing at Clint E.´s, and finally the Rotel RT-2100 which sees almost daily use at home.
A couple of weeks ago, my nephew, a very shrewd young man

, realized he´d make me a very happy uncle if this Uher EG-705 analog ( albeit with a digital read-out ) tuner would be to return to its origins.
This mini 3 gang tuner sounds better than it´s size would have you believe. In retrospect that´s what made me buy it in the first place, in that far gone year of 1983.
