Here are some pictures of a turntable mount I made out of an old monitor arm. Frogtoes made the very attractive wooden shelf. My TT is a little heavy for it at 30lbs but it's still solid enough I get no noise induced either from speakers or other sources.

Let's see if I can do it right this time. Thanks for the compliment Greg. I really like that TT. I originally bought it for the cartridge but listened to it first and now it stays. smile.gif

I prefer a strong, solid and stable table for my TT, but your idea seems great, the same with the pix.

A long time ago I hung a TT from the ceiling in an isolation attempt. I used some steel cable hooks and a heavy piece of wood. Air vibrations still seemed to be an issue with that particular TT.
