Add ingredients (including spices and that stick of butter, and the cheese if you prefer) in slow cooker. Cook at least 6, but preferrably 9 or more hours, on low.
Put ice cubes, bannanas, honey, vanilla extract or chocolate syrup and milk or soy milk in blender. Blend for fire quenching Smoothie drinks. Add banana liquer or Kahlua for buzz.
Serve chili with bread and smoothies.
