BTW, my main bass axe was made in San Luis Obispo... smile.gif it's a Ernie Ball Music Man. Like you guys say, it cost me an arm and a leg in the 80's, but still an awesome guitar. soundt/awesome.gif one of the best like the Fender P.Bass. wink.gif

Great timing, guys.
I have a half dozen TTs now, got a Pioneer PL-740 (direct drive, full-auto, pioneer cart-- so obviously not audiophile. but in immaculate condition), and a Technics (beat, with a bayonet cartridge) but with my new setup, sounded brilliant with everything i threw on this morning. My ancient copy of Morrison Hotel sounded out of this world, and Face Dances by The Who didn't hurt my feelings, either.

I'll come back with a list of the tables I have for some feedback on which ones
are preferred by the group here. The bigtime sleeper, and still the best-sounding in my stable is a HITACHI. Musta been TOTL for Hitachi, but more on that later. I'll take it offa the bedroom setup and mount it to the main stereo later this weekend.

Thanks for all of the great links, boys. Paul, glad to hear you are letting
your vinyl "rise to the top" again.
