Some days, like today, I feel like I'm the only one who even knows of the opera electronica genre let alone listens to it. sad.gif

Depends upon what kind of music you like. Lazard's sound can be viewed as a hybrid of Emma Shapplin and Izzy with a hint of Delerium. If none of those names are familiar, you'll definitely want to check out her website to listen to some samples. Just be forewarned, the two sampled tracks are the best from The Myth of Red.

Mentioned her, might as well listen to her ... Emma Shapplin - Etterna

French gal, former hard rock singer turned opera electronica and only sings in 14th century Italian. To think that Kelly had the nerve to call me a "picky ######er who listens to goofy music" the other day.

Evolutionarily and sociologically speaking, the female voice is just more preferable to a single male.
