John Carter/Bobby Bradford - Seeking
24 bit remaster
Emmylou Harris - Heartaches & Highways. Believe it or not, my first country CD.
EmmyLou is a GREAT place to start, Oven.
Country and Western (as I liked to call it tongue in cheek
on the air when we had a Country FM station) isn't my
bailiwick, but I have lots of it. Got two HUGE compendiums
for 75 cents each at a garage sale a coupla weekends ago.
Not 75 c per disk. For the entire sets:
- The Nashville Sound-bright lights, country music. A columbia music treasury. 8 albums, pristine shape, kind of a who's who of traditional country.
-country and western stars and hits as big as america (I know you think I made up that one...) 6 albums.
so I got 14 perfect albums for $1.50.
"Bridge Over Troubled Water" - Simon & Garfunkel
Everything Must Go" - Steely Dan
Got "Everything Must Go" a coupla months ago.
Typically excellent, consistent Steely Dan album.
Right now I'm listening to John Astley,
"Everyone loves the Pilot... Except the Crew."
He was the producer=engineer for guys like Clapton,
and Clapton appears on the album
Had a hit on 'world class radio', "Jane's Getting Serious."
