I have been lucky enough to score three Denon DVD players recently.
The DVD-2200 is an entry level player that has 5.1 decoder and SACD. Nice picture.
The DVD-3800 had an MSRP of $2995. I pair $20! It weighs a ton and is very well made. Picture is superb.
DVD-3910 has SACD, 1080p, 5.1 decoder, and more. Picture is almost as good as the 3800.
All three have on-screen Setup pull down menus.
I bought a DVM 3700 for out museum and I have a DVM 3800. Both have HDCD and sound really good on CD's. I missed a 5900 for 249.00 the other day.
I've been eyeing them.
My Onkyo 6-disc changer had issues. On my second one. Picture quality is excellent, but I get weary of the clunks it's making.
A single-tray Onkyo or Denon should fit the bill.
I have a Denon DVM 3700 I have been using for a few years, aside from being a little loud and clunky changing disks it has good sound and picture.
