they sure dont make them like they used to. i dig the industrial look under the hood, seems a bit overbuilt if thats even possible.

This one is from an Estate sale that an individual had, most of these big monsters where used in the broadcasting industry. The big heavy platter and the flywheel underneath, thus the big heavy drive to jump it right up to speed and hold it there.

That second 16 inch arm would make it nice.

You show us a gorgeous studio Fairchild, knowing full well I won´t sleep tonight trying to figure out ways of getting that beauty. Of course in the morning I will have come down to my senses and resume my sad existence without a Fairchild. blink.gif

Seriously, second to the Thorens Reference, those Fairchilds are my dream TT´s.
