A check for $1113.00 from the damages claim arrived today. It's been deposited in my bank account - now to see if it clears.

I already ordered the front panel - ETA 8 weeks.

How much was that brand-new faceplate again?

Hello Mark,
Front panel it is part of the Panel Unit part number VE484900 and it is special order no return policy and it will take about 8 weeks from the time you order, your cost $1,113.00 plus $4.00 shipping charges.

It's been a while now and a longer wait ahead, but I'm very glad to see that it will happen (UPS seems to be a bit notorious about wiggling out from under damage claims). That amp deserves nothing less.

Yes. those pics were taken in macro mode. Kinda cool to be able to buy a new remote control for a CD player manufactured in 1987.

That´s customer support at its best. soundt/action-smiley-035.gif

Of course I doubt they would do that for most of the lesser models, but still, puts Yamaha par for the course with Quad UK, IMO.
