dnewma04, Yes I agree with you,I have read that before.I guess the reason why it is said that you can't locate the output from a typical sub.I know I'm not a freak..lol,just speaking in general terms. Yes the BagEnd is operated below its resonant freqency and is a highly damped sealed enclosure.BagEnds approach to low freq. reproduction is to take a sealed enclosure which has a predictable roll off of 12db per octive(phisics)and provide gain in proportion with a dual integrator circuit.The integrator circuit has minimal delay and phase shift compared to a low pass filter.The signals passed to the mains have thier polarity reversed to bring them back in phase with the low freqencies.
