Received a new Zoom H2 Digital Recorder for Christmas. This thing is incredible! Lightweight, compact, and easy to use, the sound quality is first rate! Packed with more features than I'll ever use, I see my Nakamichi tape deck collecting dust soon.
Hi Tony,
Could you be more specific, please?
Does it record in lossless format? Is it disk based or flash memory based? Can you post any pics? Is it like a music server?
Glad to see you back here. Still happy with that tube headphone amp of yours?

Hi, Yes, I'm still very pleased with both my WooAudio amp, and my Akg K701's. The Zoom unit is the best deal I have found in a small digital recorder. It is Flash based using SD cards to store the recordings. The unit has four high quality built in condenser mics. You can select the mic pickup pattern from buttons on the front panel. You can record with either the front 2 mics, rear 2 mics or both front and rear. You can recorder in Wav. or Mp3, and in a variety of resolutions or bit rates. The recording a simply amazing! Here is the link to the site....http://www.samsontech.com/products/productpage.cfm?prodID=1916. I have also attached a photo. Check this thing out, you won't be disappointed.
Incredible piece of digital technology.
...and sure, with a mutitrack digital recorder like that soon we'll have a lot a bootleg recordings from live bands and also better sound on some youtube videos.
Congrats and tanx for sharing.
Thanks for the explanation, Tony.
