I'll try to keep this kind of short-ish.... I'd like to make a very public thank-you and express my gratitude to Bolly for what he did... In short I made a (valiant) attempt at repairing his laptop for him and I had thought (and did) have it working for quite some time.. Anyways when the time came for me to give it back to him (now working I thought) I couldnt get it work again.. I was very disappointed (with myself mostly) that I had said it was work and couldnt prove it.. Anyways before that (after I had got it working I thought) Bolly new I really liked a Marantz 2265 that he showed me, so in leu of anything else we agreed to trade the repair for the Marantz... I was very happy at that point (to have his laptop working and to have a very nice receiver)... Anyways I was quite upset with myself even though Bolly was very cool about the whole thing. UItimately I didnt feel it was fair to get something for nothing (obviously) and didnt expect anything from Bolly.. after all I didnt deliver on my end! ... Well I was shocked and surprised when Bolly told me that he had decided to give me the receiver anyway... I really don't know how much I can thank him other than this way for one! She's beautiful Bolly... says it all (see attached pic) and although I really have heard her much yet I'm knowing Bolly she'll sound awsome too. So.. to make this (yeah right) short... Thank you very much... I've already started the process to get bulbs (and will post a pic when thats done) and I'm sure who I intend the reciever to go to (as a Christmas present) will appreciate it as well... .(You know who I'm talking about!) Thank you... thankyou and thankyou again for being so kind and understanding... you know how much I was frustrated by that laptop after the fact!! heh So I don't know if I can say it enough.. I owe you one!! or more!

My sincere thanks...
Aaron

Well Aaron, do you have a larger than average pick-up truck?

I believe Greg could use one. wink.gif Something related to a huge, and I mean huge, pair of Braun speakers somewhere nearby...

OK, I just found out some info about some Toshiba's and a class action settlement which I'll post in off topic. Here is a link though, that might be of help to anyone with laptop problems.

Bolly is a great fella indeed. But I'd like him more if he'd send me my Braun 830s... soundt/Tflex.gif
