Without asking for, or even expecting it, a new friendship, developed through the good graces of Sound-Thinking, has turned into an exciting kind of going back to school. Music school in this case. smile.gif

I´m talking about Alvaro ( Clint E. for the newbies here ), and I suppose that having noticed my relatively narrow minded music tastes, he decided he would broaden my horizons.

He has offered me over a dozen records which have, for the most part, been a revelation to me.

I find myself listening again and again to artists I had never even heard about before. People like Ute Lemper, Anne Sofie Von Otter and Anthony and the Johnsons, to name just the three I´m totally amazed by, are indeed broadening my horizons.

Thanks Alvaro for teaching me all these beautiful new things. You may even end up making me enjoy Punk rock. biggrin.gif

I´m only sorry there´s really nothing I can teach him in return...

Jorge
