The mailman dropped off a rather cool international parcel this afternoon and I've been ravenously going through the contents for the past couple of hours. The package was from Alvaro (clint e) and contains a great sampling of CDs and a DVD featuring a very broad, eclectic sampling of music I've never heard before. I'm enjoying all of it immensely, even the Mano Negra videos done by a director who evidently has made it his/her life work to induce seizures (great music that language and genre hops faster than most anything else I've encountered).

Thank you very much Alvaro for the great music, it is much appreciated.

As Jorge put it before, "Thanks Alvaro for teaching me all these beautiful new things. .... I´m only sorry there´s really nothing I can teach him in return..."

I have reason to believe we haven´t seen the last generous gesture from Alvaro yet.
