Paul (thedelihaus) made the suggestion a while back, but we, or rather I, shot him down out of concern about insufficient interest and potential activity for such a forum.

However, if enough do show interest and y'all promise to post a lot in it, such a forum has the potential of being created.

I believe Tom (Ovenmaster) takes cooking as a serious hobby too.

I didn't get my figure by eating carrots and celery - at least, by themselves.

I think Tom just finished some rigorous training as a Chef.

Jim Eck has quite a resume' , if I'm not mistaken...................

My area is in Baking, I have been involved in baking for 31 years, I have been involved and am currently still involved in Research and Developement. Donuts and Breads have always been my primary products, I do have a little knoweledge of cakes and other sweet goods, I have several products I have developed out in the Midwest. Back in the early nineties I graduated from the American Institute of Baking in Manhatten KS, The Little Apple.

As far as cooking I cook 90% of the meals at home, my wife works much later hours than I do so it works out better for me to cook and have dinner with the family at an earlier hour. Nothing fancy, chicken fried deer steak, mashed potatoes, that sort of cooking.

But as Tom T Hall said, "I like Beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow"

When I start cooking again, more than the limited I'm currently able to do, I'll be more than happy to submit recipes and retaraunt reviews.

I honestly don't think the forum would get a lot of traffic, but I'd say enough to warrant it.

I. for one, have cooked a handful of things off AK's food forum. I'm sure there'd be some great submissions here.
