It would appear that three months ago when we here at Sound Thinking wanted to do what we could to help Mark of A$$A out with his e-zine (a pleasant shift from the kilobuck reviews of other publications) that we were on the leading edge of a wave of audio e-zine acceptance. Since then and very recently, new e-zine dedicated sub-forums have been implemented at several major forums for Tone Audio and similar publications.

Now, AudioCircle has done what we did and created a forum similar to this for A$$A discussions.

So, if you have come here looking to engage in a particular discussion regarding an article in A$$A and don't see it here, take a look at the Affordable$$Audio forum at AudioCircle to see if the topic may be over there.

Hope this helps prevent confusion.

I´m thrilled Mark and his great e-zine are gaining wider acceptance over the net.

Besides, and I hope I don´t sound too selfish, the more people read A$$A the more people will learn about us, which can´t be bad.

Best wishes mark.

That's how I came aboard. That place has changed. This crowd seems much more sensible. I only hope it stays that way.

Sound Thinking has very sophisticated brain scanning capabilites. Trouble makers and other riff-raff are not allowed to register. biggrin.gif

Just as an FYI the link at affordable audio doesn't work. You have to do a little reconfiguring of the url to get here. Is this the secret test you have to pass to become a member? rolleyes.gif

hmm, from the main page at Affordable$$Audio, it points to http://www.sound-thinking.org/, which is correct.

The link issue could've been a result of the temporary website issues during the monthly update or could even have been corrected at that time.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I want to let everyone know we will NOT abandon Sound-Thinking. The gang at AudioCircle approached me, and the idea of having their connection to the quality smaller manufacturers is important to A$$A's future.

I've had an incredibly busy month having all of two weeks to move once I accepted the offer on my home. Then, getting the March issue out in a short month, and now trying to prepare for the Audio Gathering this Saturday.

After this week is over, the chaos should subside and I can have the time to participate in the forum more regularly. Of course all bets are off if I find another home to buy and have to move quick!

I should let you all know that because of your support, A$$A's growth over the past five months has been amazing. The March issue alone is nearing double the hits of February. I believe part of it is due to the statements of Stereophile and The Absolute Sound in their recent issues about online audio publications in general. Audio fanatics are now actively searching for sites such as A$$A & TONEAudio. But most of it belongs to all of you who verbally support this crazy dream of mine by mentioning A$$A whenever you talk audio.

My deepest thanks,
Mark

P.S. The site was down for a few minutes on a couple of occasions in the past few days as I uploaded the archive additions. Please keep in mind that when it comes to web design, I'm only slightly better than dangerous.
