Guinness Beer Specialty Drinks
Black and Tan - Guinness and Bass. Proper way to serve? With careful pouring the Guinness settles on the top and the Bass settles to the bottom providing a two-tiered, layered effect. Half and Half) - When a black and tan is served with a pale lager like Harp's. Served as a two-tiered, layered effect like above. Black Velvet - Guinness and Champagne in equal amounts. Crown Float AKA Poor Man's Black Velvet (and incorrectly as a Snake Bite) - Guinness and Cider in equal quantities. Irish Car Bomb - A half/half shot of Irish Cream and Irish Whiskey dropped into a half a pint glass of Guinness. NOT appropriate to order when in Ireland. Belgian Waffle (AKA Black and Blue, a Black and White, or Black Moon. - similar to a Black and Tan, only using Blue Moon White Belgian Ale in place of the Bass. Guinness and Black - A pint of Guinness with introduction od a dash of Blackcurrent cordial. This will turn the head of the Guinness to purple. "Gin"ness - A pint of Guinness with a shot of gin. Irish Soda Pop - Guinness with Mountain Dew in equal portions. Guinness Punch - Guinness stout mixed with condensed milk, cinnamon and nutmeg. Guinness Float - Guinness stout with a scoop of vanilla or coffee ice cream floating in it. One may opt for chocolate or peanut butter ice cream as well.
