I'm a vodka man. Make mine Finlandia or Skyy, especially with fresh, sweet, cold OJ. I'm also partial to white wines... zinfandels and Liebfraumilch (Blue Nun!) are my personal favorites. Cherry or peach brandies are good. Unlike most people, though, beer does nothing for me... I don't like the smell, and the taste is even worse.

As Tom T hall says, "I like Beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow". Miller High Life.

I also like, Skyy, Bacardi Gold, Seagrams Seven is a long time favorite, and lately at the breakfast club, Root Beer Floats, very tastey but they put you away quickly.

Wine, I keep the good stuff in the fridge, you know the White Zin in the box.

Hey, don't underestimate those boxed wines! The way they dispense wine through the spigot without adding air is great! Pouring from a bottle lets air in and kills the wine fast.

Recreational - beer.
Special events and guests - wine (Carlo Rossi Blush..it was a good day)

But for those REAL SPECIAL occasions - I have a customer in Memphis that sends me a bottle of something one of his relatives in Kentucky makes. I don't ask what it is, but I always save a few ounces on account of Deoxit is so expensive.

I agree about the inner bag not allowing air in, you just go to the fridge turn the spigot and you have wine. With bottled wine you need to sit down to the bottle otherwise it is not any good the next day.

Flat wine is like warm beer and cold pizza, if you are hungry and thirsty but not my first choice.

That is great. Some of life's challenges are difficult.

it was all self imposed and no great truimph on my part. i finally pulled my head out and quit overnight. i was habitual, not addicted so it was easy for me to stop.

I think it was a wise choice,I really need to quit smoking. It all boils down to how bad you WANT to quit!I can say that my drinking has slowed down alot as I have gotten older.

As mentioned earlier strictly recreational use. White liquir, Rolling Rock, and Vodka. Thats just my preferances I'll try most beers.

On a related note. I was told that when taking pictures of stereo equipment plenty of Natural Light would help keep the glare down and produce good results. I bought a whole case. I started taking pictures of a Yorx. The pictures weren't blurry or anything. So I kept drinkinguser posted image. The more I drank the more blurry the pics got but when I was done I could swear that the Yorx looked just like Pioneer SX 1250 biggrin.gif

Friend of mine started brewing his own beer, when I asked him why he was brewing beer he looked at me and replied, "so I have something to drink while I am brewing beer", made sense to me.

My hands started shaking, so I went to the doctor. He asked me if I drank, and I said "yes". He then asked if I drank a lot. I asked what he meant by alot. He said, "Oh more than a pint."

I said, "Hell, I SPILL that much!" blink.gif
