At the request of Jorge....Please pardon the general clutter, but I'm a slob. I told as much to my wife before marriage, and she married me anyway. Look what she got herself into.....

Pix 1 - living room: Altec M19's Marantz Imperial 6's, Fried Q's(on hold for a friend) and Forte II's hiding behind the Marantz/Frieds....

Heh...you asked. I'll add some of the other systems when I get a chance....And believe it or not, there are actually some rooms that don't have gear or systems in them.

I am looking for a larger house, one with a basement. Some of the reason I leave so much stuff in the living room is to convince my wife to look harder for something she likes!....Besides, I don't think I can get the M19's up the stairs, certainly not by myself biggrin.gif

Thanks ya'll! Despite the tendency to talk smack about my wife, she does put up with a lot of clutter. Just a few days ago, I had 3 pieces of a Fisher Console pull (460T/460A/MPX-70) sitting on the kitchen table as I was bringing it up on a variac for 2 or 3 days, and I didn't hear a peep. I think she's planning revenge when we move into a bigger house and she drains the budget with a massive furniture purchase. No more audio purchases for YOU!!! soundt/tears.gif

On the other hand, today I just scored a pair of Dahlquist DQ-12's for $80 with only a woofer refoam and some minuscule cosmetic issues wrong with them. soundt/woot.gif soundt/bluebanana.gif

My brother has promised to pick them up for me some time in the next few weeks, so I have a little time to clean up and find some room... soundt/action-smiley-035.gif I gotta get the guest room picked up anyway, since we will have some company some time in the next few weeks...
Anyone need a used(read not so functional) tape deck or two???

nice collection of gear you have there analogue.so how do the 19's sound with the stromberg carlson.?i also own a pr of 19's and would like your opinion on them .(with el84's)i have a eico hf 81 that'd i'd love to try with mine but it needs a bit of work.also have you tried any s/s on the 19's?.i'm currently running a sansui ba 3000',au 666(as a pre)with mine and love the sound that combination produces.i also alternate that setup with a pair of fairchild 260 amps and fairchild 248 stereo preamp when i want to go tubes or a pr of george gott g50d amps/mcintosh mx110.
