I am looking at a pair of NS_1000's and wondering what the market price is and also what the compare to value-wise and quality-wise???

Are they sonically equivalent or better than, say, my AR3a's? I assume that they are better than my other listed speakers??

Thanks

John

depends, but they usually go for around $1000 US on the used market. to your last questions, yes and yes.

Pricing as of late has been $700 to $1200, from what I've watched (I window shop, lots).

Ave seems to be $800 to $1000, often closer to $1000 than the $800 though.

I'd say they are at least as good as 3as, if not lots better. I posted about them a bit (differences betwixt the 1000 and 1000M, and the use of berillium drivers) in another post here.
