We need some guidance! We bought these speakers new in 1982 or 1983. They are dark walnut, in near perfect condition and sound as good as the day we purchased them.

We are going to sell them (a space issue) but have no idea what they are worth. The hard part is that we live in Whitefish, Montana, so am assuming that shipping/freight will be an issue.

Any thoughts would be appreciated! soundt/confused-smiley-013.gif

*** moved to The Classifieds ***

ebay may be the best way to valuate vintage gear. do a search for completed auctions and it will show what they have been going for. another resource is The Klipsch forums, http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/default.aspx.

these speakers are highly sought after. even in Whitefish, MT i would think you wouldnt have much trouble selling them.

I'm looking at a pair here in California right now that can be bought for $1500. However, there are quite a few of them here, and they come up for sale from time to time. Also, the economy is a little soft here right now. I doubt if there are that many Khorns for sale in Montana. If you find a local buyer, it may be his only option and hence command a higher price to avoid freight.

Just my thoughts.
