Goodwill

Somtimes they have something here. There is a Kenwood that doesn't look to bad, the Pioneer if it could be bought for where it is and shipping wasn't to high might be worth while.

I look there when I remember. Have even bought a couple things but only because they were somewhat local otherwise the shipping can be killer. Prices were good for what I bought though I can't recall what I bought rolleyes.gif. My "local" site changed to set handling fees instead of a percentage. Sometimes more than what is bid so I don't bid much anymore.

I wondered if that was what was going on around here.

I know the local "off brand" thrift got in some sharpies
in management who seem to know both the price
and value of everything.

A few months back the good stuff pretty much dried up.
I've found one pair of AR-18b speakers in the past 4 or 5 months.
Really a blessing in disguise, because I don't want to feel compelled to
buy anything because it's "too good a deal to pass up."

I frequent the local Goodwill with my kids. They look at toys and games, I buy records. soundt/banana.gif There's a Salvation Army store about 20 minutes away that I also buy records at every so often. soundt/action-smiley-035.gif
