Allan,

Do you have any data on the low end of your Infinities? An impedance curve plot would be important, for it is in this frequency range you usually find the biggest dips in impedance, making high demands on amps and power supplies. An estimated efficiency would also be helpful, though most of the times speaker manufacturers specify just the overall efficiency of the design.

IIRC, those RSIIb´s will need plenty of clean Solid State power to bring the best out in them.

Do you plan to build a design from the ground up? There are several power amp module manufacturers which could have just what you´re looking for. The same goes for power supplies, like the one you showed in your link, and there´s even quite a wide variety of metal / wood boxes with great looks on the market for the DIY guy.

If it were me, however, being the lazy bugger I am, I´d look for a vintage Krell, Mark Levinson, Threshold, Accuphase or similar designs on that auction site.

Ok, I guess I misiterpreted you. You already have that Power supply, correct?

and one more...

Jorge,
As far as the RSIIb's go, I don't have specifics. I just know they are considered amp killers because the low impedences heat up and fry amplifiers not capable of supplying the current demands...The DH-500 I just picked up is supposedly able to supply 20A into a dead short, but I'm not sure I want to test this story. Besides, I need to put a new set of differential amplification transistors into that one because of high DC offset in one channel....It's always something....

Oh yeah! It's a monster, decidedly heavy and begging for a 500 WPC amp to drive... biggrin.gif
