If I had the money, I might've bought it. 210wpc, looks to be built like a tank. funny, kenwood 700M's sell for 2 times as much as the price the 578 didn't even sell for.

On looks alone the Kenwood 700 is worth twice that Philips. wink.gif

Ebayers tend to shy away from items with high initial bid values, in my experience.

I actually really like the looks of the Philips. cool power meters, and 'OH SO COOL' touch sensitive switches.

It also has indicators for heat and protection, just like setton. but no clipping indicator. IMO, every amp should have a clipping indicator light.

The matching preamp is also one of the coolest, in my opinion. check out this page on it--
