I´d love to hear Emaidel´s and Thedelihaus´s takes on this one. I´d bet those woofers are replacements, and not very appropriate ones, for that matter.

For some reason, the pics aren't loading for me. I'll check back later to see if they'll load, and I'll let you know...

Ahh- they loaded.
Not original woofers, and I'm thinking the woofer hole may have been enlarged for a 12" driver. I can't tell for sure. Still, worth it for either restoring or for spare parts. Those stands are nice. -------------------- What you got back home, lil' sister, to play yer fuzzy warbles on? Pitiful, portable picnic players? Come with uncle & hear all proper! $150 for parts alone is probably worth it. And, yes, as thedelihaus has pointed out, those are not original woofers and likely are degrading the performance of the overall speaker. The fact that one of the tweeters doesn't work could be as simple as a blown fuse.
There's no photo of the crossover network to show whether or not the speakers have mylar caps (which are yellow) instead of the original cheapies Dahlquist once used. And, as there's only a picture of one, there's no way of telling if the pair is mirror imaged. Unless you've already got the DQ-10's, and need an inventory of replacement parts, I'd steer clear of this one. There are often DQ-10's in far better shape available on eBay for about the same, and as such, are better buys. -------------------- "Official" licensed, resident grouser. So there.

didnt know that a decent set of dq10's could be had for that price, didnt know about the replacement woofers either, just browsing around and the price looked good, so I posted it.
