I got a call yesterday about a Yaqin phonoamp or preamp. This person wasn't getting any power out of his .25 volt output side and he had a hum on his r/h side. The only thing I could tell him was to swap tubes and see if problem followed. Was I right in telling him that?
I asked how he got me he said from Grant and the reason he called me was because I was the only one awake.LOL

That was bull, I never sent anyone to you (lately) and our dealers are getting lots of people with wishful thinking that we will help them with their Yaqin ebay/hong kong purchase problems. Just tell them to send it back from where they purchased it from. ROFL smile.gif

Sorry to ask you this speakerman1, but the brands that you represent and sell in your shop, doesn't give you any technical approach to what you're selling?

Have you some technical knowledge?

I'm asking you this because that could be another form of income. I mean, technical assistance to some audio gear, even to those people who buy stuff over the internet. smile.gif

I use to build , design and sell my own speakers. I studied 2 years of electricity and 2 yrs of avionics.
The drugs I take affect my memory. Can i read a schematic yes. I just don't want to do it any more.
It is hard for me to soldier anymore because if i try to concentrate i get the trembles.
