I like it! that ADC equalizer is very nice, esp. with the rackhandles!
as for that Nak preamp, as good as it may be, its one of the fugliest things I've ever seen, IMO. I bet it sounds good though! -------------------- Henry

Man Jim, you really mean serious business. I hope you get to play around with all of that stuff pretty often. It would be a shame to have such a setup for testing and not use it.

I also have an BSR / ADC eq. The pink noise generator is handy for testing level.

I have enough stuff sitting around to keep me busy. Currently I just got a Dual A505-2 running correctly, that is why the ground wire is hooked to the rack handle on the Preamp, now clean it up and get it on that place. It is actually very handy for those garage sale treasures you bring home and want to find out if they work or not, don't you hate dragging out a receiver, speakers or whatever just to hook something up to see what it needs?
You do have to love the great big knob of tuning, Young Frankenstein type, ![]() The Nakamichi 610 Control Preamp has a pink noise generator as well as 1k, 5, and 10k test tones, phase inverter, as well as mixing capabilities. It was designed to be used as a recording preamp. Here are some borrowed pictures, ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() this is not mine but the pictures give you a good idea of the capabilities, mine has a silver face, I use mine in my computer system for recording from Lp's.
