I think this is a fantastic feature of this forum.

IMO knowing what other members look like makes for a closer, more intimate, relationship.

I´ve posted my ugly mug-face in my profile. May I suggest we all do it?

I think the statute of limitations have run out on some of our mods so this is a pretty good Idea. there are a ton of options to figure out with this new site.

So, are you going to post yours in your profile?

So, Elroy, are you going to post yours in your profile? The one in your avatar looks a bit dated... biggrin.gif

See, the problem with the snap shot, is that I have been wearing a helmut so long, I dont think I could get rid of the helmut head.

Well, I went to "My controls", which appears on top of each page, then to "Personal profile" on the left column. There I clicked the option "Change Personal Photo", and I uploaded the pic in the option "Upload a new image from your computer". I finalized by cliking "Update Photo".

Image size has got to be 100 x 100 pixels - 50 Kb maximum size.

Perhaps you guys are trying to upload larger size pics expecting the "Image Scale On" feature to adjust them and for some reason it is not working???

Jorge

P.S. - I just noticed Larry ( Bentpencil ) has posted his pic too.

If I do that I get this...

"Sorry, the board administrator has not enabled your permissions for this part of the control panel."

Yeah, apparently newer members have no trouble at all uploading their photos.

Gee, I sound like this forum has existed for ages... laugh.gif

Just passing through very briefly...

Sorry about this issue, I had allowed personal photos for some permission masks, but had overlooked the size settings and making it a global permission for all masks. I chose IPB for this forum over PHPBB because it allows these cool additional features and is easier for the average user to use and post with images and the like. Unfortunately, it's also a great deal more difficult to get set up properly. There are a few dozen pages of settings, all of which I'm still learning having never before set up an IPB board, so bear with me.

Current personal photo settings for all active user groups are on and set at the max size of 150kb and 400x400 pixels. That should be more than enough for y'all to post your photos and likely more for some of you than the rest of us would like to see. biggrin.gif
