i grew up with Miracle Whip but have had only good old mayo for the last 20 some years. recently i had a taste of Miracle Whip and thought it odd.

Same at my house! Family still gets Miracle Whip now and again and compared to mayo, it's definitely different and a bit too sweet for my taste. Kraft Real, Hellmann's, Cain's, they're all good.
