Scored this "portable" Sony today for $2.99 just after another Sui 9090DB. Plays but is very easy to jostle. I believe this is Sony's second portable but it has no batteries

cool player, if only for nostalgias sake. as i recall these were at the top of the heap in portables at the time.

Congrats. That's a very cool looking cdp and one of the first portable ones.
That comes from Sony's new view of the future of audiovisual entertainment. Hi-fi audio and video must move out of the living room to the great outdoors. Like i posted in the Sony minidisc topic. That's a vintage classic. Congrats.
