I watch a lot of the other websites and occasionally post on them, but I spend most of my time on ST.

How do we spurr new topics for our members, we have 500+ members and not a lot of activity.

I realize most of us cannot go out and buy new gear every week and review it. but there has to be something, should we add some new forums? I dont know.

just a thought.

I'm a member at other forums as well and i'd notice the same.
But i'd notice other things as well. For example, many many posts in some other forums are just the same old posts with another names, again and again...Nothing new, always the same#### chat...And i'm talking in some audio forums with more than 5.000 members.

I always tried my best to widespread ST to new horizons...and to be perfectly honest i think ST is a very open forum. Should we become more close to something more objective?

posting for the sake of posting has its place as in "Last Post Wins", but for the most part i would rather see audio dialogue of substance even if that means less activity.

I think we're fine.
We're doing as well or better that most of the other "spinoff" forums, and everyone seems to get along. I think it's good.

Microsoft stock was cheap once.

I try to take the time to post and include pics as time permits. Then it's a matter of time waiting for answers. I have one lees site to post on as some jackass called me an "a$$hole" on AA and after I flamed him in a PM he went whining to the moderator and apparently they delete any posts I make. Still a member though. blink.gif Realised tonight that if I put actual model #'s in the heading the sites pop up on google.

Life is very busy with work and family. or I'd post more. Be that as it may, I like our approach here as we don't get a lot of the "did I do well" type of questions one finds elsewhere when the poster just found a mint condition Sansui BA-5000 for less than $100 and knows perfectly well they've found an amazing deal. Most Sound Thinking posts add value to the topic under discussion - I appreciate that.
