These arrived Thursday, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=180301772092

most are considered super metals, the Maxell Vertex(2), TDK MA-XG(7,new style 1990), TDK MA-XG(2,old style, alloy frame 1987),Denon MG-X(4), Sony Super Metal Master(5) + other assorted goodies!! biggrin.gif These should make the finest recordings possible on my Nakamichi deck, I'm also still using/demoing the IC's dingus and elroy made soundt/woot.gif soundt/thumbup.gif , so I've/I'll be quite busy.

Yes, I like the sound of a well recorded cassette tape, I'm a TapeNut and proud of it soundt/action-smiley-065.gif , we all hwve our preferances as to what sounds good and synergy of all associated parts of the whole make the best music possible, though as we all know here at ST, it's never really enough is it folks soundt/lolnuts.gif hence, some of ya'll might think I'm crazy to spend $150 + on outdated old, used software for my sick habits..s'all good! soundt/awesome.gif soundt/awesome.gif

Thanks for sharing Craig, I always wondered how many cassettes equals a buttload, you Americans, you really need to get on board with the metric system biggrin.gif

Happy listening

In light of you self-proclamation of social preferences, would it be safe to assume that your choice of quantity description in the title is a further statement concerning that particular realm? wink.gif

And, aren't they kinda hard to clean? blink.gif

soundt/lolnuts.gif IIRC the metric measurements make things bigger, soundt/action-smiley-035.gif for the conversion, I'm from the national state of Texas, so we say buttload, I never even thought it bein' takin' the wrong way till you mentioned it, soundt/angel.gif !! I plead the fifth.

What's a metric buttload? Is this where the metric descriptors come into play like "mega-"? I'm not sure a kilo-butt is very flattering?
