Well, not really an SL-1200, but the armless version, an SL-120.
However, an SME 3009 Improved II has been mounted- a factory option. This will pair up with my SL-110, which is the armless SL-1100, the super-wide body model. This one also has an SME 3009 Improved II. In given time, I'd like the Technics SP-10 with external power supply and Obsidian (volcanic glass) base. And with an EPA 100 or EPA 500 arm (Technics proprietary high-end arm). I've got a few other tables- a Technics SL-1300 and SL-1700, non MK II, so no quartz locking. I kinda prefer the looks and simplicity of these earlier models, and the reliability they afford. However, one may find a home with a friend, the other may get customized or may become a work/office TT. Lastly, I've got three Sony PS-X5 tables- though all have issues. Hoping to combine the three into two working units. The X5 is, from what I can tell, the same as the X6 besides the X5's mechanical buttons and the X6's soft-touch electronic buttons. The X7 is the same as the X6, but with a carbon fibre tonearm. If the above is correct, I'd like to grab an X7 arm and mount it on one of the X5s, but need to do more research.... -------------------- What you got back home, lil' sister, to play yer fuzzy warbles on? Seven tables- something about TTs is just enticing. I do aim to keep it to 4-6. Less, if I can find that I can live well with the fully manuals. -------------------- What you got back home, lil' sister, to play yer fuzzy warbles on? Pitiful, portable picnic players?
