Driving by a Sally Ann over the weekend and saw a 50% off sign. Stopped to look for a small heater. Found one marked "Bric a Brac" $3.00. Then saw an Akai GXC-709D cp. Very good shape with some dust on the top of the keys. Four position tape selector. There was a $7.95 tag sort of hanging on it. Did I really need another cp? Took the heater up to the cashier and even though he said it was tagged wrong (they had fans marked as "Lamps") but sold it anyway. Asked about the Akai and said the tag didn't seem right (I thought it should be more). Waited for him to go take a look and when he did he said $2.50 out the door blink.gif. On the way home I stopped at a sale and found a BIC 920 tt with a frozen paltter. Thought I'd offer a buck but when I showed the sellers they said take it away. It has a Shure M95ED that looks virtually new soundt/awesome.gif. Akai sounds great.
