I have two espresso machines, both Gaggia machines and both "basic". One is a Gaggia Factory G106 lever machine and the other is a Gaggia Deluxe with a heat exchanger. I love both but the lever is the numero uno coffee maker. I use the other when I have visitors and need to knock out a few in a row.

The grinder I have was a strange purchase. I am definitely a coffee snob and the thought of buying a "Sunbeam" product was just unthinkable. Well, I was reading a few reviews at a coffee expert site and he did a review of this Sunbeam, complete with strip down of the machine, etc. He was very impressed with it and at under $200AU, I figured I'd put my little Gaggia MM out to pasture and give this one a go. When we went to buy it, we found them in special for $149AU, much cheaper than the baby Gaggia grinder.

Result?... awesome grinder with a five year domestic warranty, replaceable burr set that is geared down (doesn't heat the coffee as it's grinding) and removable hopper (that shuts as you remove it thus not spilling any beans).

The grinder is the Sunbeam Cafè Series 0480.

So you addicts out there, what do you do for a fix at home?
