Saw a pair of these CR-7's at my local junque dealer. Two way, substantial in heft, and nicely finished. Anybody have any experience with these small bookshelf-sized monitors? Opinions? I didn't find much on BA's website either.

mixed reviews. A really nice speaker says many- others say go for the (much more expensive) VR series.

I fully understand.

I haven't heard them- could be really nice. I have heard that VR tweeter and it's a winner.

Let us know what you think of them if you get them. Just because they may not be the absolute best doesn't mean they are junk. They could be a great speaker overshadowed by the VR.

For their size, they're probably very location-dependent. I think I'll grab them next week and let ya know.

And if there's anything lower continental 48 stateside you ever need, keep me posted. I imagine pickings can be a bit slim for you.

Thanks Paul, that's a righteous offer. Thank you.
