I would not suggest it.You have so many things to consider. You have corrosion. Delanination and various other things. Yes I do know about Alum. To do a delam test you do a quarter tap test. Just think if you have to check to see if your cabs sound right. Alum is put together in layers. There are about 4 different types of corrosion that will attack the alu.
This was brought up in another forum and I kept my mouth shut. Also alu doesn't have very good sonic properties. Just go flying.There is more but I advise against it. -------------------- Creek 5350SE amp
