Congrats Stuwee. Don't know a thing about cassettes so I wouldn't know a deal unless it was free. What kind of deal did you get?

Thanks guys! The deal is $360 shipped to my door for a $1,300 hunk of the best Teac could build (this is debateable) I've heard all parts are avaliable should something go wrong, and Sam over at TapeHeads is a retired Teac tech, super nice fellow, who I'm sure would fix any problems down the road! It looks like it will last longer than me rolleyes.gif I hope the door makes a cool airlock sound when it opens and closes smile.gif I already have a super nice Denon DN-790R 3 head, Dolby S, HX-Pro deck from Des-Labs. I really didn't need a super league rig. I just had to try to get one to play with the big boys. I have ton's of nice tapes already and don't plan on stopping now!! biggrin.gif

Full review when I get my grubby paws on it! soundt/drool.gif soundt/drool.gif Should I get some white cotton gloves like the tube guys wear? Where do ya'll get those anyway?

Try the First Aid section of Walgreens, or a medical supply store. They're often used to keep hand lotion or burn salve on your hands overnight while you sleep.
