ah, there is nothing like the contentment in knowing that something is complete. for years, i've been wanting my very own copy of this CDP, and i finally got my chance a couple-three months back. still, that wasn't enough to satisfy me; i had to have this deck in a state of completeness EXACTLY as if i had bought it myself back in early 1987!! within the last couple of weeks, i was able to at last accomplish just that...

EVERYTHING. from the service manual, to the label sheet, and even the warranty card!! i also have the original box, but it is buried in the closet. so no pic of that. anyway, that is one more item to check mark on the docket of this ridiculously picky audiophile!!

oh, yes, let us not forget the JD-M108 8cm CD SINGLE cartridge, as well!!

(PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT THIS MAGAZINE WILL NOT WORK IN PRE-1988 MODELS)

Incredible stuff. Congrats. soundt/thumbup.gif
IMHO you should try to find a more stable and solid table for your cdp.
Just a thought. smile.gif

yeah, i suppose. still, i screwed some feet into the bottom of that PIONEER cabinet. it did actually make it more stable. still, when we move to another place, and if it has a room to put this system in that's bigger than this current room, then i'll consider replacing it. for now it does it's job quite well; it fits in the limited space available, and it holds the CDP and all of it's related affects...
