Did my thrift store loop today (details in the "Digital" section) and came across a cdp and the Sony at a Sally Ann. Table is in excellent condition but there appears to be a crack on the cover. Came with Shure P-mount M111 HE without a speck of dirt on the stylus so it may have never been used blink.gif. Table was marked $46.50 but it was 1/2 off day. Evenso it still seemed too much. After some joking around and wheelin' n dealin' I got the TT for $10 plus the cdp. Total was $26.25. Also got the manual and a Sony TT catalogue.

For those who enjoy pics. Very nice condition. Took off the cartridge to avoid damage.

Probably was worth the money just for the phono cartridge - I believe that's one of the best T4P cartridges out there. Does that "HE" stand for hyperelliptical?

Everything has a crack in it. That's how the light gets in.

Yes, as far as I know that is what "HE" denotes. Believe it is comparable to a V15 II and it does resemble the V15s I have. Odd thing is that as it is a P-Mount why put it on a standard headshell? Yesterday, I happened to notice I bought another M111 HE in an opened box. I now realise the stylus on it is not the original even though it is a Shure. Not sure which one it is but under magnification it appears conical. Mounting screws are still in sealed bag. The estate I got it from did have a ton (literally) of 78's. Couple weeks ago I bought a Pioneer PL-512 for $10 because it had another V15 III mounted. Once cleaned it looks virtually new as does this one.
