The wonderful jbeckva over on Tapeheads has finished the repairs on the Sanyo, I blew something playing the ML's with it, my bad!

Turns out it was a weak power switch, it wasn't the original one and was defective. He sacrificed a Pioneer GX-777 EQ power switch! All should be well but, another weak part of the design reared it's ugly head, the cool LED power meters went on the fritz, the boards they were on were disintegrating, the traces crapping out. Good ol' Jerry to the rescue soundt/master.gif , he went to some new boards and redid the traces with some new LED's in a three color design green/amber/red, so it's now one-of-a-kind soundt/banana.gif ! pics in the link: http://www.tapeheads.net/showthread.php?t=4065
I'm making this all sound like a walk in the park repair, which I'm sure it wasn't, he knew how much this amp means to me and really stepped up to the plate to go above and beyond to get it perfect and back in home where it will be put to good use in system #5 soundt/action-smiley-035.gif soundt/thumbup.gif

btw, he liked the amp so much, he bought one off ebay biggrin.gif
